The Bio-Digital Movement and theInternational Experimental Workshop for the Bio-Digital City are experimenting, under the direction of Claire BAILLY and Jean MAGERAND, with new inventive approaches at the crossroads of ecology and digital technology.
These research-actions extract, from the Living, algorithms. They transform them into algorithmic generative modes of the ecosystem type. These generative modes are applied to inventions-fabrications in the fields of art, architecture, agronomy, urban planning and landscape.
We will open the discussion from theComplex Bio-Digital Work,urban and agricultural "bio-digital projects", and works by architecture students.
The ecosystem structure of the inventive approach, the experimentation of generative modes and project approaches are common to all these bio-digital approaches.
